The INKARRI PROJECT is the inspiration of a Group of Peruvian and Latin Americans, The project involves hundreds of actors who represent the different characters in the Inti Raymi reenactment. This celebration of the winter solstice is celebrated every year in Cuzco-Peru called Inti Raymi.The Project offers the opportunity to professional dancers and musicians to perform in this festival and share their knowledge with newer, less experienced practitioners. It is very specifically aimed at teenagers and young people with in the community, channelling energies into more productive forms of cultural activities: Dance, Art workshops, Drama, Music, Tourism, Public Relations and Multicultural active integration etc.

"Inti Raymi is an artistic event and at the same time is Educational. It is celebrated by the indigenous people of the Andean countries each year and is the most important event in the Andean Calendar, in which the coming of the Summer Solstice on June 21is welcomed,st , marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of anhother . This celebration goes back to the times when the Inkas ruled throughout the Tahuantinsuyo (today, Peru , Bolivia , Ecuador part of Argentina , Chile and Colombia ). For this reason, this celebration has a remarkably wide geographic and cultural connotation," "We are also presenting this event with the purpose of preserving an space for spirituality and to reinforce our Andean and Amazon identity, as well as to make known our traditions amongst the British people and those who are visiting London City.

Over one hundred participants and Artists are involved in the Inka Trail (the float and dance procession)in London. The organisers work tirelessly and are determined to succeed....enhance the impact for each individual of performing and being able to present their culture to thousands people.This Project was outstanding part of the Carnaval del pueblo, which is one the largest open air Latin American cultural event in Europe with an audience of 80,000 people, according to figures from Southwark council, "In this extraordinarily emotional context is both exhilarating and life changing"...... The complexity of event coupled with the volume of work involved and the participants expenses such as: costumes, travel expenses, musicians, refreshments, decorations, publicity, Stage, stereo equipment, track hire, wheelbarrow, showing of llamas and Alpacas (Andean animals of the camelid family)etc. The role of these participants will be to develop community work, help advertise your brand, support and help the community to settle in a new environment and culture.

The PARTICIPANTS will have the opportunity to be part of a fraternity(collaborative) enviroment, get skills and knowledge in diferent workshops related with the preparation to the festival, receive Diploma awards and develop pride in promoting proudly a part important of Latin American culture.
